PHASE 1 – The real problem, not just the digital one

Conor is a personal trainer with years of experience in Australia. When the pandemic hit, the fitness industry collapsed. Gyms closed, contacts disappeared, routines were disrupted.

After returning to Europe and settling in Romania, he found himself having to start over from scratch. No local network, no digital infrastructure, only skills and determination.

“I knew I could help people, but they didn’t know how to find me. Every day without visibility was a missed opportunity.”

The biggest risk wasn’t just financial—it was the risk of remaining invisible, of falling out of the market just as online fitness was booming. If ignored, the problem would have led to stagnation, loss of motivation, and abandoning the project.

PHASE 2 – Defining Priorities and Strategic Direction

Together, we translated urgency into concrete actions.
The problem wasn’t “lack of a website,” but rather:

  • No indexable or authoritative online presence
  • Absence of an SEO strategy and local positioning
  • No UX designed for conversion
  • Lack of a clear buyer target
  • Zero optimized content

Every clear goal is born from a carefully listened-to urgency.

We assessed the available resources (time, budget, channels), mapping out:

  • The best short- and mid-term opportunities
  • Geographical constraints (based in Romania, initial target in Ireland)
  • The goal: to become an international online coach, starting with Ireland as the first strategic market

A website wasn’t needed. A path to start again was.

PHASE 3 – Audit, Positioning, Restyling and Local SEO

We started with a full SEO audit and competitor analysis in Ireland.
Identified buyer persona:

Male over 30, with a busy daily routine. Little time, but highly motivated. He’s looking for a training program that doesn’t conflict with work or family life, but integrates effectively into it.

Actions taken:

  • Keyword analysis and research of local search intents
  • SEO targeting for “personal trainer Limerick”, “online fitness Ireland”, etc.
  • Website restyling: simplified structure, optimized copy, smooth UX
  • Implementation of SEO strategy + local SEO focused on Limerick
  • Gradual expansion of positioning to a national level

Result: steadily growing rankings, monthly organic traffic doubled in the first 6 months, tangible increase in form submissions.

Challenges aren’t ignored. They’re turned into strategies.

PHASE 4 – Expanding the Target: Fitness for Women

After the initial success, we identified a clear opportunity: expanding the business to a female audience, which had been initially excluded in order to focus on a specific and narrow male target.

We didn’t just change the way the business is found.
We changed the way it’s chosen.

Strategic changes:

  • Reviewed language and imagery to be more inclusive
  • Added a female testimonials section
  • Integrated client video reviews via YouTube
  • Published new blog content on broader topics (well-being, motivation, post-partum training)

“Speaking to women didn’t just increase traffic — it humanized the brand.”

PHASE 5 – Geographic Expansion: The US Market

Final step: entering the US market.

Actions taken:

  • Rewriting content to be semantically neutral and suitable for a non-European audience
  • Inserting long-tail keywords for US-based searches
  • Optimizing headings and entities for English-language search engines
  • UX testing on mobile devices in the US, targeting key states like NY and California

Result: the first visits and inquiries from the US came within 3 months of publishing the new content.

Breaking into the American market wasn’t about translation — it was about transformation, without losing identity.

📌 Without understanding the semantic context, growth would have been shallow and unstable.
